Me: Not really sure where this will go. Just using this to collect my thoughts and stuff because I’m hopeless at writing a normal diary… I suppose I should write a bit more… I grew up in Tokyo and HK and now live in Sydney (my dad was always Australian). I wanted to be a vet for most of my life until I got into the course and decided it was the last thing I wanted to do. Might have had something to do with the weekly dissections. Then went off and did a degree in Arts (English mainly) and Law. Not that I ever practiced law. Hmmm, instead I went into a career managing IT/Web stuff and then later University research. Now, I’m bored again so it will be interesting to see what the next change will be. Hopefully it will involve one or more of my major interests: IT/Web, Intellectual Property Law/Public Domain Rights, Education and Publishing. Or one or more of many of my minor interests… BTW the cats in the pictures are mine, the Abyssinian is called Simby and the black and white cutie is Olivia/the Muffin/Baby and I found her under the main quadrangle at Sydney Uni when she was only 6 weeks old, she’s one of the smallest cats I’ve ever seen, she still looks like a kitten and she was born in 2000.
